Everyone these days is addicted to snapchat, even I am. I love how it works. Once you learn how to use it, which is pretty easy, you'll be addicted too. Here, I am going to tell you how to find your friends on Snapchat.
1. Adding Friends by Username
This is the simplest and the most basic way of adding friends on snapchat but you'll need to know your friend's username first. Open snapchat and then tap on the white snapchat ghost icon on the top of the screen. Then, tap on "Add Friends" option, tap on "Add by Username" after that type in the username in the username search bar, tap on "+" (add) button besides the username you searched. Bingo! You now have a new friend on snapchat.

2. Adding Friends from Contact List on Phone
This is an interesting way to add friends on people. If you have someone's contact number, you could still add them even if you don't have their username. Tap on "Add from Address Book", it will all the people in your contact list who are on snapchat. Then, tap on "+" (add) button and add whoever you want to. There will also be a list of people who are not on snapchat and you can invite them to join snapchat.
3. Adding Friends by Snapcode
This is a feature unique to snapchat. Here, you would need the person's snapcode, which is a screenshot of their profile screen. You need to save their screenshot in your phone. Like, in the image below, I saved this screenshot of demi lovato's snapchat and then to add her in my friends list, tap on "Add by Snapcode" and then choose the screenshot of their profile screen from the images. The image you select would be scanned and then a pop up will come on the screen, tap on "Add Friend" and the person would be added in your list.
4. Adding Friends by Location
For using this option, you won't need the person's number, username or snapcode. The only thing you will want is to ask them to open "Add Nearby" on their snapchat. You will need to switch on your location for this and other snapchatters nearby you who have this option on, will be able to see your username too. Open your profile screen, tap on "Add Friends", then tap on "Add Nearby". Once you use this option, there will be a list of nearby snapchatters, if any, tap on the "+" (add) button. Voila! You have new friends on your list.
5. Adding Friends from Quick Add
Open your profile screen by tapping on the little white snapchat ghost and you'll find a quick add list of snapchatters that have mutual friends. You will be able to use this option only once you have some friends in your list.
